Country Wedding with A Lot of Class -- Congratulations Alyssa and Drew Wheeler!

On this beautiful Pacific Northwest afternoon, 09/20/2020, Alyssa Fink and Drew Wheeler pledged their love and commitment to each other in front of their immediate family and a few close friends at a charming country style wedding complete with cowboy hats, hay bales, and sunflowers. Rich and I were delighted to do their wedding photography. Here are some highlights of their special day. Wishing Alyssa and Drew much happiness as they begin their life together as husband and wife. Argentine Tango and Chilean Cueca Dancing Sways to Sexy Rhythms

During our recent trip to Patagonia with stops in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Montevideo, Uruguay, Santiago and Puerto Varis, Chile, we learned a lot about the history of the sexy and sublime Argentine tango and the coy and colorful Cueca folk dance.

Tango originated in the late 1800’s along the River Plate and the colorful port town of La Boca, Argentina. Slaves, brothels, and men first danced together to the pattern beats of the bandoneon. Over time, the dance was accepted by middle class and is seen today throughout this part of South America.

First Dance and Fun Wedding Reception Photography

Let the wedding reception party begin! It's so much fun for me to watch people at weddings let loose and have fun. Yeah, most brides and grooms are a little nervous on their BIG DAY, but once the corks start popping and they've already had their picture taken by the wedding photographer in dozens of scenarios, everyone is more relaxed and has BIG smiles on their faces.

I love taking pictures of people having a good time and not worrying about me taking their picture. It's those candid, spontaneous moments that tell the wedding story.

It's an honor for me to photograph your wedding. Let me tell your wedding day story. Booking now for 2019 and 2020 wedding photography and wedding reception photography.
