Tasty North Carolina Cuisine in Washington State? Yes! A Wandering Goose and Tokeland Hotel getaway by Jolly Sienda Photography and Studio

Dang! Everything is so damn delicious at the Wandering Goose restaurant - part of the Tokeland Hotel located in Tokeland, Washington. The cuisine is low country North Carolina inspired by the owner’s roots. Everything with the exception of the corn meal and rice (all Southern state sourced) is local, fresh, farm, fish, to table and finger licking good — especially the friend chicken dinner! Plus the hotel is over 100 years old. It used to be a boarding house in the late 1800’s. Owner and chef, Heather Earnhardt, bought the property about eight years ago and strives to retain the old charm of the property, make it family friendly, and a welcoming space for people who love great food and beverages. The hospitality given by all of the staff is warm and inviting. Also, do treat yourself to a hot tub experience with marsh views and the 22 ounce sharable rib eye steak. Holy Moly!!
