Western Washington, is very similar to the tulip fields in Holland in the Spring. In the Skagit Valley you can see tulip fields for miles around the surrounding farms, foothills of the Cascade Mountains, and on a clear day you might see Mount Baker in the background. One of the best places to go and enjoy the tulips is at Roozengaard Tulip Farm in Mount Vernon. The tulips in the Skagit Valley are planted in intervals and you can count on seeing the blooms and their vibrant colors starting in late March through April and maybe some in May.
